Support for SMF Tricks Themes & Mods / Blue Shame mod issue
« on: January 09, 2015, 07:37:33 PM »
First off, the Blue Shame theme is the default theme on my site and most members (99%) haven't changed from the default (4000+ members) to the other 4 we offer.  Great job on the theme  8)  I use it too depending on which device I'm logging in with.

I have the Lazy Admin mod installed on the site and there seems to be an issue with the sub-menu on the main page when using this mod.  See attached - the main menu doesn't react to the mod versus way it does on the second layer.
What can I change to make this mod work properly? Someone suggested the css file needs a tweak.

Feedback / Can I do this?

Does the site allow animated .gifs as an avatar?  I can't seem to get it to work, which if you don't allow, would explain it.

Support for SMF Tricks Themes & Mods / Help with LightHat Theme
« on: August 08, 2014, 04:43:02 AM »
I think that the Light Hat theme is brilliant and would like to modify it to make it more user friendly for my users - hopefully it is possible.
I have figured out the background pics and am working on them to make them more transparent so the ones I select (and they will change often) are not too over bearing and making it hard to see the forums.
I changed the opacity of the content to make it easier to see.
Now the questions:
1) Is there or is it possible to have different content areas, like one for each layer of the forums?  I'd like to be able to change the opacity of each layer as you go down through the layers into a thread, for instance, so that at the posting level the content area of just that area is almost opaque?  Otherwise I think the background will play tricks on your eyes.  We post a lot of pictures (rebuilding boats) in our threads and I think it will get confusing to the eye.
2) If there are different content areas, can we have a different picture for the background for each area or is there only one background?
3) How do you add a logo to the site?
Thanks for your efforts on this great theme.

How often are the credits updated.  I purchased some credit earlier in the day and while I have the paypal receipt I don't see any credits in my acct.

My name is Rick and I'm always looking for a great theme.  I think I've found some here and will be buying a premiere theme shortly.
Thanks for the great work guys and gals.
