Premium Themes / Re: DarkDream [Responsive SMF 2.0]

Hi,

About the carousel feature... would it be possible to have it automatically picking up the most recent topics in a certain board, meaning picking up the first image on the first post (with fallback image otherwise) and the title of the topic with the first words on the first post? This would be similar to what blogs usually have (and SSI functionality in SMF to some extent) to feature important topics.

Hi, great theme once more Daniel!

There's a little bug you might want to solve: when the top menu is collapsed (not visible) and you resize the window to a small width or open the forum on a mobile phone it's not possible to open the menu by clicking the symbol with three bars. It just doesn't work. If you have it uncollapsed while in wide-mode  then it works. I guess it should work in both situations. You can check it with Firefox or Chrome responsive element tools.

Hello there,

In this part:
3.- Index.template.php (Themes/Reseller)
Search:
Code: [Select]
// Generate a strip of buttons.
function template_button_strip($button_strip, $direction = 'top', $strip_options = array())
{
global $settings, $context, $txt, $scripturl;

if (!is_array($strip_options))
$strip_options = array();

// List the buttons in reverse order for RTL languages.
if ($context['right_to_left'])
$button_strip = array_reverse($button_strip, true);

// Create the buttons...
$buttons = array();
foreach ($button_strip as $key => $value)
{
if (!isset($value['test']) || !empty($context[$value['test']]))
$buttons[] = '
<li><a' . (isset($value['id']) ? ' id="button_strip_' . $value['id'] . '"' : '') . ' class="button_strip_' . $key . (isset($value['active']) ? ' active' : '') . '" href="' . $value['url'] . '"' . (isset($value['custom']) ? ' ' . $value['custom'] : '') . '><span>' . $txt[$value['text']] . '</span></a></li>';
}

// No buttons? No button strip either.
if (empty($buttons))
return;

// Make the last one, as easy as possible.
$buttons[count($buttons) - 1] = str_replace('<span>', '<span class="last">', $buttons[count($buttons) - 1]);

echo '
<div class="btn-group', !empty($direction) ? ' navbar-' . $direction : '', '"', (empty($buttons) ? ' style="display: none;"' : ''), (!empty($strip_options['id']) ? ' id="' . $strip_options['id'] . '"': ''), '>
<button type="button" class="btn btn-success dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown">
    Actions <span class="caret"></span>
  </button>
<ul class="dropdown-menu" role="menu">',
implode('', $buttons), '
</ul>
</div>';
}
Replace for:
Code: [Select]
// Generate a strip of buttons.
function template_button_strip($button_strip, $direction = 'top', $strip_options = array())
{
global $settings, $context, $txt, $scripturl;

if (!is_array($strip_options))
$strip_options = array();

// List the buttons in reverse order for RTL languages.
if ($context['right_to_left'])
$button_strip = array_reverse($button_strip, true);

// Create the buttons...
$buttons = array();
foreach ($button_strip as $key => $value)
{
if (!isset($value['test']) || !empty($context[$value['test']]))
$buttons[] = '
<li><a' . (isset($value['id']) ? ' id="button_strip_' . $value['id'] . '"' : '') . ' class="button_strip_' . $key . (isset($value['active']) ? ' active' : '') . '" href="' . $value['url'] . '"' . (isset($value['custom']) ? ' ' . $value['custom'] : '') . '><span>' . $txt[$value['text']] . '</span></a></li>';
}

// No buttons? No button strip either.
if (empty($buttons))
return;

// Make the last one, as easy as possible.
$buttons[count($buttons) - 1] = str_replace('<span>', '<span class="last">', $buttons[count($buttons) - 1]);

echo '
<div class="buttonlist', !empty($direction) ? ' float' . $direction : '', '"', (empty($buttons) ? ' style="display: none;"' : ''), (!empty($strip_options['id']) ? ' id="' . $strip_options['id'] . '"': ''), '>
<ul>',
implode('', $buttons), '
</ul>
</div>';
}

If you want to make a button menu that is composed by: "Reply" and then "+" button separately with the remaining options (meaning not buttons for all options neither just a + for all options), how would the code look like?
